shonnit Gupto

I am Shonnit, an actor from Kolkata, born and studying in Allahabad, with proficiency in Hindi, Awadhi, Bengali, and English. I have been part of several TVCs and short films, and recently completed a web series for Amazon Prime, "Khoya Mahal," directed by Konkona Sen Sharma and Joydeep Sarkar, where I had the opportunity to work alongside Aditi Rao Hydari and Barun Sobti. I am passionate about storytelling and strongly believe that creativity lies in experimenting, taking risks, and continuously evolving through the process. With a diverse creative background, I have worked as an actor, writer, photographer, and TVC director. I am also trained in semi-classical vocal music since childhood and have received multiple awards in school theatre and inter-city performances. My formal training includes 1.5 years in Panto Mime from the Indian Mime Theatre Academy, Kolkata, along with workshops and performances under Mr. Niranjan Goswami. I have also trained in theatre under the legendary Shri Badal Sircar (Third Theatre) and Khalid Tyabji. In addition to my training, I was actively associated almost 6 yrs with the Shatabdi, Badal Sircar Third Theatre Group for several years. My experience across various productions includes Tvc, Web Series etc
